Hotel Surya, Kaiser Palace - Varanasi

Beautiful heritage hotel.

Fairly clean place with sincere staff and nice view to garden from balcony. The garden restaurant for dinner. No complaints whatsoever, good stay during a week long holiday in Varanasi.

the hotel had a secluded position right by the ghats and the noise of varanasi, the city center, and the dining and bar areas.

Family with children will enjoy this!

We loved the morning buffet, there was everything from fresh omelettes to steaming dosas and fruit juices, it kept the kids happy! The garden area was a hit with the family too, we spent hours relaxing while the kids explored.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for, it's acceptable.

The restaurant is not the best. The wait staff seem stressed and the food is average. The cleaning staff are very loud in the mornings... To early. Yelling at each other down the hallways and it echoes loudly into the rooms.

Nice and quiet place in Varanasi. Nice pool area to relax.We got late check out without free of charge Vary good breakfast in the morning and not the same every day. Some stuff members are friendly.

Wifi is not working every day. Food is not good when dining,Tthey mix your oder or the same soup is very different every day. They have 4 different charges to add your lunch or dinner.

I had a lovely time enjoying the spacious luxury room with a balcony and the tasty breakfast spread. The pool and spa services provided the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t ruin my stay! 😊

Hotel is inexpensive. Rooms clean. One cafe and one restaurant on premises, both serving good quality food at reasonable prices. Wifi access at 100 INR for 12 hours is not expensive.

What a lovely stay! The heritage vibe totally enchanted me, and that pool was the cherry on top for unwinding after a chaotic day. Plus, I just adored the array of local art in the shop!

The staff took the word 'sudden' to an Olympic level during room cleanings! And let's just say the internet was slower than a tortoise on a leisurely stroll.

We really enjoyed the friendly sevice and helpful advices. The restaurant was excellent in service and meals were superbe. We liked the Pool after hot sightseeings and a drink to relax. Also sevice of travel agency was very good and the offered trip was perfecin timing and hotels. Thanks for the stay, we'd like to come again and will recommend to our friends.

The hotel is in a quiet area away from the crowds. Our room overlooked the large courtyard garden, with restaurant, cafe and small shops. There is a pool and the restaurant food was excellent. I have read other reviews which rated low for location due to the distance of the hotel from the Ghats. We were taken to the Ghats by our guide in very heavy traffic and the trip took 20mins by car. I felt this was compensated for by the peace and quiet of the hotel, and sitting on our shaded balcony at the end of a day, watching couples dining in the garden below. The room is a bit shabby but very comfortable with airconditioning and a fan.

Hot water was a problem - most of the time it was cold showers.

The lush gardens were my morning solace. Each corner offered tranquility, while the staff's pleasant demeanor made every interaction enjoyable.

The hotel was somewhat isolated was nice. A bus service to key attractions would have been helpful.

Required attention on room cleanning such as using airfreshner in room,toilets and also size of tv is smeel in room.overall stay was pleaseant ooking forward to come back again.
